Dashbashi Canyon & Diamond Bridge

Dashbashi Canyon & Diamond Bridge

Dashbashi Canyon is located in the Kvemo Kartli region, in the Tsalka Municipality, within the Khrami River gorge, near the village of Dashbashi, at an altitude of 1110–1448 meters above sea level.

This natural monument represents a rare canyon-type gorge carved by the Ktsia (Khrami) River into the volcanic rocks of the Dashbashi lava plateau. The canyon is distinguished by its exceptional biodiversity and unique natural landscape.

Surrounded by lush greenery, the beautiful Dashbashi waterfall attracts countless visitors with its paradise-like atmosphere and stunning scenery. The canyon is also popular because the walking distance is relatively short, allowing visitors of almost any age to easily explore this amazing place without significant physical effort.

Although the large cascading waterfall is the most famous attraction of Dashbashi Canyon, the canyon itself stretches for approximately 8 kilometers and offers many additional beautiful and interesting spots for those who enjoy hiking, wandering, and adventure. The steep slopes covered with rich vegetation and numerous picturesque waterfalls create a unique micro-landscape unlike anywhere else.

Both natural and man-made caves can also be found within the Khrami gorge area. Near the village of Dashbashi, visitors will discover a beautiful forest that serves as a perfect picnic destination, especially during hot summer days, thanks to its pleasant shade and well-maintained surroundings.
