Hatsvali Ski Resort

Hatsvali Ski Resort is located in Svaneti, 8 kilometers from Mestia. The resort’s maximum altitude is 2,348 meters above sea level, while the minimum altitude is 1,868 meters. It is very quick and easy to reach from Mestia.

Hatsvali is connected to Mestia by both an asphalt road and a 6-seat cable car. During summer, the Mestia–Hatsvali cable car does not operate, so visitors must reach the resort by car. In winter, the road is regularly cleared of snow, and the resort can be accessed by any vehicle equipped for winter driving. Taxis are also easily available in the center of Mestia.

Ski Slopes and Lifts
The resort operates 4 ski lifts, serving skiers from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM:

The Hatsvali cable car connects Mestia with Hatsvali Resort. It starts in Mestia at 1,428 meters above sea level and ascends to 1,898 meters.

Hatsvali has a total of 5 ski slopes with a combined length of 7 kilometers. The longest descent is approximately 3 kilometers long. The resort offers slopes of all difficulty levels:

Beginner skiers can use the Slalom and Bigeli lifts, which provide access to short beginner slopes of about 550 meters.
Intermediate and professional skiers can use the Zuruldi lift and enjoy medium and difficult slopes.
Adventure seekers and extreme skiers can test themselves on steep forested slopes and exciting off-piste areas beneath the cable cars, filled with natural obstacles.
It is important to note that the ski trail does not return directly to Mestia, so unless you are an experienced freerider, you will need to return by cable car.

Hatsvali is also equipped with night lighting, and night skiing events are often organized.
